Exposition: Femmes de la Méditerranée
Femmes de la Méditerranée, entre tradition et modernité

« Femmes de la Méditerranée, entre tradition et modernité » a invité les élèves des lycées français du bassin méditerranéen à un questionnement rigoureux. Indépendamment de l’actualité politique de nombreux de ces pays- les élèves, grâce à ce travail sur les femmes, ont abordé toutes les valeurs auxquelles nous croyons : liberté, égalité, laïcité, respect de la diversité, solidarité.
Cette exposition « Femmes de la Méditerranée, entre tradition et modernité » est la synthèse du travail de plus de 1 200 élèves encadrés par plus de cent professeurs dans 13 pays et 38 établissements.
Organisée en 6 thèmes, l’exposition est en accès libre et un catalogue exhaustif est disponible à la Médiathèque :
- Les Femmes mythiques et légendaires
- La place de la femme au sein de la famille
- La femme à la conquête de ses droits
- La femme dans la vie de la cité
- La Femme dans l’histoire, en temps de guerre, en temps de paix
- La représentation de la Femme dans l’art
Conrad’s Dark World
Exhibition opening Monday December 19th at 12.45 pm at the Médiathèque Agnès Varda.
Conrad’s masterpiece is not only a quintessential work on the concerns of “the colonial enterprise” in its time, but also an investigation into the complex labyrinth of human mind.
Upon reading Heart of Darkness, one has to feel the great forces tugging at his mind. Artists around the world have used the narrative for a variety of performances and art forms.
We, two Terminale classes, now invite you, visitor, to grasp an image of the literary inquisition our two classes led during the study of this novel through this exhibition :
